A big week of esports kicks off on Monday, July 7, 2025, with League of Legends maintaining centre stage in Vancouver, Canada.

LoL MSI 2025 will conclude this weekend, with the final six series of the $2 million event set to take place throughout the week.

Meanwhile, the 2025 Esports World Cup will kick off on July 8, with the first of seven weeks of competition set to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2025

The League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational will head into the final week of competition, with the last six series set to take place from Monday to Sunday.

Gen.G and T1 are yet to lose a series at LoL MSI 2025, and they will clash in the upper bracket final for a spot in the grand final, while Bilibili Gaming, FlyQuest, Anyone’s Legend, and CTBC Flying Oyster will battle through the lower bracket.

VALORANT Esports World Cup

VALORANT will make its debut at the Esports World Cup in 2025, as 16 of the world’s best teams will compete in the US$1,250,000 event.

The VALORANT Esports World Cup will kick off on July 8 and run through July 13, with the Group Stage and Playoffs set to take place across three days each.

Following their win at VALORANT Masters Toronto, Paper Rex enter the EWC as the +300 outright betting favourite with top esports betting sites, ahead of G2 Esports (+350) and Fnatic (+550).

After being renamed from the Riyadh Masters to the Dota 2 Esports World Cup, Dota 2 will once again be one of the featured events at the EWC in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

With a massive US$3 million prize pool up for grabs, the top 16 Dota 2 squads will clash over two weeks of competition from July 8-19.

Following a successful debut at the Esports World Cup in 2024, Rennsports will return for another year in 2025, with a US$500,000 prize pool on offer.

Scheduled to kick off on July 8 with the Last Chance Stage, the Rennsport Esports World Cup will run through July 11.

The Rennsport Esports World Cup will act as a final event of the Rennsport R1 Spring season, making the event very important on the 2025 Rennsport schedule.
