Weibo Gaming sign star ADC Elk and promote rookie support Erha to form a new LPL 2026 bot lane. WBG complete their roster and lift expectations for the season.

On Wednesday, December 3, Weibo Gaming announced the arrival of ADC Zhao “Elk” Jiahao and support Shi “Erha” Xunye, who form the team’s new bottom lane duo for the 2026 League of Legends season.
Elk joins Weibo Gaming as a replacement for Wang “Light” Guangyu, who was released from the LoL Pro League (LPL) team on Tuesday, ending his three-year-long stay with the Chinese squad.
While 2026 will be Elk’s seventh season in the LPL, it will be Erha’s first, after competing in China’s academy league since 2021.
However, the 22-year-old has already featured in the big league in LPL Split 2, when he subbed in for Fu “Hang” Minghang.
Elk’s arrival at Weibo Gaming was announced shortly after he was let go from Bilibili Gaming, whom he had joined in 2023.
Over the three seasons with BLG, the 24-year-old ADC has won three LPL trophies, two Mid-Season Invitational silver medals, and reached semifinals and finals at LoL Worlds in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
Widely known as one of the most mechanically gifted ADCs in the league, Elk has long played alongside support Luo “ON” Wen-Jun and will now start a new chapter alongside an inexperienced player.
Still, with Elk filling Weibo Gaming’s gap in the ADC role, the team’s expectations for the next season have risen.
Elk is statistically one of the best ADCs in China and has been for the entire 2025 season.
He had the league’s second-highest KDA (5.4) and third-highest (797) damage per minute. Moreover, Elk has played 22 unique champions throughout the 2022 campaign, making him one of the most versatile players in his role.
Erha is a lesser-known player; however, he joins Weibo Gaming after three promising seasons in the League of Legends Development League (LDL).
He joined Weibo Gaming’s academy roster in 2023 and has since helped the team win LDL 2024 Stage 3, place fourth in the Season Finals. Ergha ended his last split with Weibo Gaming Youth Team in eighth place.
With the arrival of a new bottom lane, Weibo Gaming have all five positions filled, with Chen “Breathe” Chen in the top lane, Gao “Tian” Tianliang in the jungle, and Li “Xiahou” Yuanhao in the mid lane.
It is unclear whether WBG intend to make more changes before the LPL 2026 season kicks off on January 1.
