Vitality set up bumper ESL Pro League S22 final against Team Falcons

Vitality will clash with Team Falcons in the ESL Pro League Season 22 grand final on Sunday. 

Team Falcons (-114.94) are now the favorites to win the grand final, although the match is rated very closely by online betting sites, who have Vitality at -117.65. 

Falcons were the first team through to the grand final after defeating MOUZ 2-0 in their semi-final.  In a dramatic battle, Falcons clinched the series on Inferno (16-13) and Ancient (13-7). 

Falcons’ m0NESY was stellar throughout — his 39-29 K-D and 83.2 ADR underline just how pivotal he was to the win. Meanwhile, TeSeS also delivered key contributions with 33 kills. For MOUZ, Jimpphat’s 37 kills couldn’t tilt the balance. 

Falcons’ tactical discipline and clutch moments, especially on the closing rounds of Inferno, proved decisive and sent them into the final.

Vitality booked their ticket into the grand final in less comprehensive circumstances, defeating Faze Clan 2-1, who will go into IEM Krakow on November 3 with renewed confidence after pushing the powerful ZywOo-lead outfit all the way. 

The clash started out with Faze removing train and Vitality removing ancient, before Mirage was picked by the underdog. Faze Clan then won in overtime 22-20, with Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken topping the map with a rating of 1.86. 

But from there his support fell away and Vitality got on top on Inferno, with Robin “ropz” Kool contributing a 9.5% swing towards his team and going +7 throughout the 9-13 result. 

ZywOo then, as he often does, dominated Dust2 (with a 22-8 K/D) and helped his team to a 13-8 map victory. 

Faze Clan (+135) and MOUZ will face off for third position prior to the grand final, with the latter a -188.68 favorite with GGBet sports betting.
