FUT Esports and Fnatic are set to cross swords on Friday, April 28, in a crucial match for both teams. A loss for Fnatic could see them drop below Natus Vincere in the VCT EMEA League title race, whereas a win for FUT Esports would finally establish them as serious title contenders and one of the region’s top teams.

According to the latest VCT betting odds, the latter scenario is highly unlikely, which makes sense considering how much stronger Fnatic are than any other team in the league. They’re 4-0 with an impressive 8-1 map record and a +42 round differential.

FUT Esports are 3-2 with a 7-4 map record and are fresh off a 0-2 loss against Giants, who beat them 13-5 on Icebox and 13-11 on Split. Results like that make it hard to believe FUT Esports can defeat Fnatic. Still, a map handicap is an appealing choice here.

We’re offered +137 on FUT Esports to win a map, which is fairly generous – especially considering Fnatic players recently tested positive for COVID-19 and have likely not fully recovered yet. Fnatic should still come out ahead, but we can see FUT winning a map.

TEAM VITALITY vs NATUS VINCERE VCT BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Vitality -175.44 at BetOnline | NAVI +125 at BetOnline

Team Vitality suffered a massive 0-2 loss against BBL Esports at the end of Week 4 and are 3-2 heading into the final round of VCT EMEA 2023 League Week 5. This is still a comfortable spot, but that defeat further strengthens the belief that Vitality are not a top contender to win the league.

Natus Vincere have lost just one series this season (4-1), on the opening day against KOI (0-2). They’ve since beaten Giants (2-1), BBL Esports (2-0), Team Heretics (2-1), and Karmine Corp (2-0). An excellent bounce-back, but it’s fair to remember that NaVi haven’t won against a strong team yet and came just two rounds away from getting swept by the Giants.

We would like to see more from NaVi, but this is still a team you wouldn’t doubt, especially when paired with Vitality, who’ve not amazed us with their recent showings. At the offered Valorant betting odds, we’re ready to take Natus Vincere to win 2-0.
