VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2025 Pacific Stage 1 is set up for an exciting finish, with three playoff tickets left up for grabs across the two groups.
After four weeks of action, five of eight playoff spots have already been handed out, with one in Group Alpha and two in Group Omega yet to be filled.
The week started with BOOM Esports claiming top spot in Group Alpha after a 2-1 victory over DRX, putting them one step closer to qualifying for VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025.
Meanwhile, in Group Omega, Rex Regum Qeon picked up a crucial victory over the Masters Bangkok champions, T1.
That win sets RRQ up for a thrilling race for the group’s No.1 seed, with just Team Secret standing between them and a direct bye to the upper-bracket semifinals.
Tied with RRQ with a 3-1 record, T1 will chase the top spot in the group against TALON on Saturday, but with a worse round record (+17) than Rex Regum Qeon (+32), Kim “Meteor” Tae-oh and co. will have to count on their rivals’ slipping to come out on top.
The final week of VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 1 will kick off with a decisive Group Alpha match as Paper Rex (1-3) take on Global Esports (1-3) for a spot in the lower bracket.
Over in Group Omega, the final week will break a three-way tie between ZETA DIVISION, TALON, and Nongshim RedForce.
ZETA DIVISION and Nongshim RedForce both picked up crucial victories this week against Team Secret and TALON, respectively, keeping their playoff hopes alive.
After last week’s success, ZETA’s and RedForce’s chances to reach the knockout stage are in their own hands, with the two squads to face off on Sunday, April 20.
Meanwhile, TALON will have a much tougher task as they clash with the win-hungry T1.
While the battle for VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 1 playoff spots is still alive, DetonatioN FocusMe and Team Secret are out of the race, having failed to produce a single victory over the first four weeks.
