FUT Esports are firm favourites on the top VALORANT betting sites to start their VCT 2025 EMEA Stage 2 campaign with a victory and take down Gentle Mates for the second time this season.

FUT showed higher highs in the first stage; however, they looked toothless at the Esports World Cup 2025 qualifiers, where they produced very similar results to Gentle Mates. But more than past results, it is M8’s recent roster changes that are to be considered.

Gentle Mates enter Stage 2 with three new up-and-coming talents: Sylvain “Veqaj” Pattyn, Yusuf Emre “Proxh” Tunc, and Berkcan “ComeBack” Şentürk. While adding players with no Tier 1 experience is a risky play, Gentle Mates now have a squad with very high potential.

FUT have been decent at best this season, while Gentle Mates could turn out to be great. At these numbers, M8 are a solid outsider pick.

Team Liquid have added former Vitality played Nikita “trexx” Cherednichenko to their roster ahead of Stage 2, which is a very promising move. While it remains to be seen whether trexx can help his new team catch up with EMEA’s top dogs, Fnatic and Heretics, Liquid should be competing for a podium finish.

KOI were one of the worst-performing teams of the VCT Kickoff and Stage 1, and despite making three roster changes in May, they did not make any progress at the Esports World Cup 2025 qualifiers

The added break might have helped KOI figure some things out, but they are unlikely to challenge Liquid, who are an inviting bet to sweep.
