Gentle Mates won their first match of VCT 2025 EMEA Stage 1 against Team Liquid but have since slipped against FUT Esports and Karmine Corp. BBL Esports have managed two wins this stage, against Karmine Corp and KOI, but were not as successful against Liquid at the start of Week 2.

Despite going 1-2, Gentle Mates have shown some good things by forcing overtime against FUT Esports on Fracture and Karmine Corp on Haven. BBL Esports seem to have some fight in them too, but besides their trashing of the region’s worst team, KOI, they have not shown anything too inspiring.

The top esports betting sites have BBL priced as favourites, but you have to take Gentle Mates at this number. This matchup should be much closer to even money.

GIANTX have yet to win a game in VCT 2025 EMEA Stage 1, losing to Team Vitality, Team Heretics, and Natus Vincere. While that is not the easiest schedule, things will not get any easier for Kirill “Cloud” Nekhozhin and co. as they get ready to face one of the hottest teams in the region.

Fnatic are 3-0 with solid victories against Natus Vincere, Team Vitality, and Apeks under their belts. They were forced into overtime by Apeks last week, but those guys have been ramping up, so we can not criticise Fnatic too much for it.
