2GAME Esports were the worst team of VCT 2025: Americas Kickoff, which they finished in last place with two tough losses against FURIA and KRU Esports. Evil Geniuses did slightly better and reached lower bracket round 2 with a win against FURIA, but they were no match for either LOUD or MiBR and had to settle for a seventh-eighth-place finish.
2GAME have since made one roster change and added Estevao “Askia” Ferriera, whereas Evil Geniuses decided to run it back with the same five-man lineup.
Even though neither team performed well at the start of the season, the top VALORANT betting sites have 2GAME priced as heavy underdogs for this match, which makes sense considering their horrendous run in the Kickoff event when they made it clear they do not belong.
Evil Geniuses have a lot of catching up to do, but they should not be losing games like this.

Sentinels enter VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1 after a painful last-place finish at VALORANT Masters Bangkok, where they lost to DRX and Team Liquid. Despite the rough showing in the first international event of the season, Sentinels are still viewed as one of the top teams in the league.
100 Thieves exited the Kickoff tournament in last place, with one victory against MiBR and losses against NRG and Sentinels. The latter was a fairly close game, so it is not ridiculous to believe 100 Thieves can leave a dent in Sentinels this time out.
Sentinels should not be priced as -175.44 favourites after their iffy display in Bangkok, which is an indication that they overperformed during the Kickoff event.
