Natus Vincere are priced as firm favourites to defeat Team Vitality in their first meeting of the season, and considering what the two VALORANT esports teams showed during the EMEA Kickoff event, that might sound fair.
However, while Natus Vincere reached the VCT 2024 EMEA Kickoff semifinals, Team Vitality weren’t that far off as they lost just two series – against Karmine Corp and Fnatic. Losing against the VCT 2024 EMEA Kickoff champions and the most dominant European VALORANT roster of 2023 isn’t a reason for concern, so it’s fair to say Vitality might have a lot more to show.
Seeing Natus Vincere priced at -227.27 doesn’t look right — not because they’re weaker than Vitality, but because Kyrylo “ANGE1” Karasov and his crew have not shown anything spectacular this season. They’ve only played three series and NaVi’s only victories came against BBL Esports and Team Liquid.
At the offered VALORANT betting odds, Team Vitality are a clear choice.
Team Vitality to win

Fnatic were expected to win the VCT 2024 EMEA Kickoff, but they came up short, losing against Karmine Corp in the semifinals. This doesn’t sound good, but one loss isn’t enough to feel concerned about this squad.
This is the same roster that was nearly unstoppable last season, so while Fnatic had a rough start to the year, they’re not to be underestimated.
Team Heretics defied all odds and placed second in the Kickoff tournament. However, their chances on Thursday will be hindered with Dominykas “MiniBoo” Lukaševičius and Mert “Wo0t” Alkan both unable to travel to Berlin to play with the team on LAN.
Even if Team Heretics had all players available, it would be a bold move to fade Fnatic knowing what they’re capable. Fnatic to sweep looks like the most likely outcome.
