G2 Esports and Paper Rex are set to clash on Sunday, for the first time since December, when Paper Rex defeated the North American squad during the Radiant Invitational International Invitational. It was a close game, and according to the odds on the top VALORANT bookmakers, the rematch is expected to be just as competitive.

Paper Rex qualified for Masters Santiago as VCT Pacific’s third seed, while G2 Esports secured a silver medal in VCT Americas.

Those placements do not draw a clear line between the two teams. Both teams also play a similar style, and they appear to be comfortable playing double duelist.

There is nothing to separate these two outfits, and while Paper Rex are known to be hot-or-cold, there is a very good chance this affair extends to the final map.

T1 vs TEAM LIQUID

T1 are expected to defeat Team Liquid on Sunday, which is not surprising. Even though both are elite teams, Team Liquid have one major weakness – a shallow map pool.

Despite showing signs of life in the latter stages of VCT Americas Kickoff, Team Liquid haven’t been convincing with questionable performances on Split, Abyss, and Corrode. Their Bind and Breeze are solid, with 4-0 and 4-1 records, but that will not be a major advantage for this affair, as T1 excel on the two maps.

T1 are rightly viewed as favorites. While Team Liquid have a high ceiling, they have to show something on the big stage first.
