TALON started VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1 with a 2-1 victory against Team Secret, while Rex Regum Qeon had to admit defeat to Nongshim RedForce, who reverse-swept them on Monday. Even though they won, TALON did not impress with their performance in the first week.

Seeing Thanamethk “Crws” Mahatthananuyut and co. drop a map against Secret does not look too inspiring, even though they dominated on Fracture and Haven, winning the two maps 13-2 and 13-9, respectively. RRQ were not perfect either, especially on the attacking side on Split, but they showed good things on Ascent and Pearl.

This should be a competitive game, which can go both ways. Rex Regum Qeon are an excellent team on Ascent, so they are bound to get at least one map, and from there, it’s anyone’s game. At outsider odds, RRQ are a no-brainer pick.

BOOM ESPORTS vs GLOBAL ESPORTS VCT BETTING & MATCH DETAIL

Best Odds: BOOM +162 at BetOnline | GE -227.27 at Bovada

BOOM Esports are priced as $2.62 underdogs with the best VALORANT betting sites to defeat Global Esports, despite their 2-0 sweep of Gen.G in the first week of VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1. At this number, they are underestimated.

BOOM looked great in the opening week, especially Dastan “dos9” Zhumagali, who had a monstrous performance, with a 1.66 rating and 57/30/21 K/D/A. Global Esports also impressed in their 2-0 sweep of DetonatioN FocusMe, when GE looked much cleaner and more decisive than what we saw in the Kickoff event.

Global Esports’ macro seems very solid, and if they can keep playing this way, Kelly “kellyS” Sedillo and co. can enter the race for VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025 invites. However, we are too early into the season to make any conclusions.

Unless dos9 pops off again, Global Esports should be favoured, but this will unlikely end in a sweep.
