Team Heretics kicked off their VALORANT Champions 2025 campaign with a huge upset against G2 Esports. The VCT EMEA representatives won with 13-10 on both Corrode and Lotus, thanks to strong performances from Benjy “benjyfishy” Fish and Enes “RieNs” Ecirli.

It is, however, worth keeping in mind that Heretics’ star duo have been very inconsistent this season—so there are no guarantees they will perform as well on Thursday.

T1 did not look as dominant in their sweep of Dragon Ranger Gaming. However, they have been one of the more consistent VALORANT esports squads this year, and their ability to punish mistakes should prove valuable against a volatile Heretics outfit.

Over 2.5 maps at -111.11 is a fair offer. Until Heretics show more stability, they are always in danger of dropping a map.

MIBR vs FNATIC

The best VALORANT bookmakers have Fnatic priced as firm favorites to book a spot in the playoffs when they face off against MIBR.

MIBR stunned Bilibili Gaming in the first match of Group B, winning 13-2 on Haven and 13-9 on Corrode. Erick “aspas” Santos again proved why he is one of the best players in the world, leading the charge with a 1.54 performance rating.

However, while aspas had his moment, Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov shone even brighter in Fnatic’s victory against Rex Regum Qeon, posting the tournament’s highest rating (1.65).

Seeing Chronicle continue to perform as well as he did during the Esports World Cup is reason enough to side with Fnatic, who are an inviting pick to sweep.
