By topping Group B and beating DRX and Paper Rex, Fnatic will now have to prove their worth against the surging NRG.
The North American bolters won Group C, crushed GIANTX in the upper-bracket quarterfinals, and defeated the high-flying MIBR, dropping just two maps in the process.
NRG have shown some cracks, however, and have yet to face any of the pre-tournament favorites.
They played two close games against EDward Gaming and DRX in the group stage, were paired with the weakest team of the playoffs, and needed two overtimes to edge past MIBR.
Fnatic, on the other hand, have been ramping up, and their dominant display against Paper Rex last Sunday is reason enough to back them at the moneyline.

Despite entering VALORANT Champions as the team to beat, Paper Rex’s run has not been as smooth as anticipated. They were far from dominant in Group A, and their playoff run has been just as shaky.
The Southeast Asian outfit kicked off the knockout stage with a 2-1 victory against G2 Esports, were reverse-swept by Fnatic in the upper-bracket semifinals, then narrowly edged out Team Heretics after a huge comeback on the final map.
DRX were one of the outsiders heading to Paris, but they’ve done well so far. After a second-place finish in Group C, they lost a competitive game against Fnatic and then eliminated G2 Esports and MIBR from the tournament, both in reverse sweeps.
While DRX have been lucky to get this far, they’ve shown incredible resilience and individual prowess — especially Cho “Flashback” Min-hyuk, who is one of the top-performing players of the tournament.
The best VALORANT betting sites have Paper Rex priced as favorites, but the -175.44 looks a touch short. DRX are able to put on a show and are more than capable of forcing a close game.
