After weeks of rumours and speculation, Team Liquid announced the signing of Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek, who joined the Counter-Strike 2 team just hours after Liquid waved goodbye to Justin “jks” Savage.
The Polish in-game leader, who was linked with a move to Liquid last month, was officially added to the active lineup on Friday; however, only on a loan deal.
Roster Update: @siuhycs will be joining Team Liquid CS on a trial from @mousesports starting at PGL Bucharest and through the BLAST Austin Major.
We are looking forward to getting to know him and what what he brings to our roster.

As revealed, the ex-MOUZ player’s loan spell will start at PGL Bucharest 2025 and last until the end of BLAST.tv Austin Major, after which talks about the potential extension of his stay will be held.
By joining Liquid, the 22-year-old will step back into the arena for the first time since January, when he stepped away from MOUZ’s active lineup following a last-place finish at BLAST Bounty Spring 2025: Closed Qualifier.
Siuhy is the first signing Team Liquid have announced since the arrival of Guy “NertZ” Iluz in January when Liquid were aiming to build on the success at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.
However, deep tournament runs were few and far between, as Liquid have managed just one top-eight placement since the turn of the year at ESL Pro League Season 21.
A long period of underwhelming results, with just one knockout stage appearance in 2025, was the driving factor for the 22-year-old’s arrival, leading to a role shuffle within the team.
With the Polish IGL joining Liquid, Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken will hand over his captain armband, ending his eight-month-long role as in-game leader.
The bold changes come just two days before Liquid will attend PGL Bucharest 2025, where they’ll look to turn the season around and win their first LAN gold medal since BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024.
According to the outright betting markets, Liquid are not among the main favourites to win the Romanian tournament, priced at +700 on the best Counter-Strike 2 betting sites.
Despite being given just 12.5% implied probability of winning the event, Liquid should feel hopeful they can turn the season around under the leadership of Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 semifinalist.
