MOUZ NXT’s roster rebuild is well underway, with lmbt returning to the organisation he led to ESL One glory back in 2018.
MOUZ have announced the return of Serhij “lmbt” Bezhanov, who rejoins the European organisation as coach of the Counter-Strike 2 academy team.
The Ukrainian strategist, who began his Counter-Strike career in 2008, returns to the team after leading the main lineup (then mousesports) between 2016 and 2019.
During his first stint with MOUZ, lmbt won four big events: ESG Tour Mykonos 2017, StarLadder & i-League StarSeries Season 4, V4 Future Sports Festival Budapest 2018, and ESL One New York 2018.
Since leaving the team in March 2019, lmbt has led HellRaisers, AVANGAR, forZe, GORILLAZ, TITANS, Monte, and Inner Circle Esports.
However, his only notable achievements after departing mousesports have come with Monte, where he won a title at Challenger at DreamHack Winter 2023 and made a semifinal run at ESL Pro League Season 18.
After leaving Monte in September 2024, lmbt spent time away from the scene before joining Inner Circle Esports, who he led to a single title at ESEA Season 52: Open10 Division – Europe.
The 37-year-old now signs for MOUZ’s academy division as one of the key pieces of the roster rebuild.
“Serhij knows what it takes to make that leap. And he knows how to prepare players, not just mechanically, but mentally, for the grind, the pressure, and the opportunity,” read the announcement.
Since March, MOUZ NXT have released most of the roster — including coach Tobias “TOBIZ” Theo, who left for HEROIC, and Georgi “Jorko” Mitev, who was acquired by Copenhagen Wolves.
With only Adrian “xelex” Vincze remaining on the roster, MOUZ NXT are in full rebuild mode; however, they have yet to reveal any information about who will fill the vacant spots.
