Natus Vincere have announced the signing of the former GoNext Esports roster, confirming the organisation’s return to the Apex Legends esports scene after four months.
In Jose “Uxako” Llosa, Filipe “Hiarka” Morgado, and Kyllian “zhidan” Brun, NAVI have acquired one of the hottest Apex Legends rosters in the world.
The trio played together at 2R1C before joining GoNext Esports in October 2024.
There, Hiarka and co. wrote history with their Cinderella run at the 2024 Apex Legends Global Series Championship, where they defied the odds to win the world championship.
A week later, GoNext announced the departure of all three players, coach Francisco “Esteves33” Esteves and manager Ryan “Darkii” Mayid to start fresh for ALGS Year 5.
However, it did not take long for Uxako, Hiarka, and zhidan to find a new home, while Esteves33 is also coming along for the ride.
By acquiring the defending world championship roster, Natus Vincere are ready to return to Apex Legends esports with a bang, having released their previous lineup in October last year.
Consisting of Matej “MaTaFe” Fekonja, Pedro “KIND4” Maldonado, and Caleb “iHenchman” Nicholls, the previous NAVI squad did not find much success in the upper echelons of competitive Apex Legends.
They attended both ALGS 2024 playoff series but never made it into the winners’ bracket, finishing 23rd in Split 1 and then 24th in Split 2.
MaTaFe, KIND4, and iHenchman went on to form Orgless and Hungry, which disbanded in February after GoNext Esports signed KIND4 and iHenchman, leaving MaTaFe without a team.
Natus Vincere will debut their new Apex Legends roster at ALGS 2025 Pro League Split 1, which starts on April 6.
They have also been invited to the Apex Legends Global Series 2025 Open, scheduled for May 1-4.
