Natus Vincere launch rebuild for CS2 academy roster

NAVI are rebuilding their Counter-Strike academy side from the ground up, opening applications to anyone who meets a few basic criteria.

Natus Vincere (NAVI)

Natus Vincere have opened applications for their new Counter-Strike 2 academy roster, just over a week after selling their secondary lineup to FUT Esports.

At the end of June, Natus Vincere transfer-listed their entire academy division, citing limitations of the Counter-Strike ecosystem in preventing the team from developing further.

Coach Andras “Coolio” Fercsák and the entire NAVI Junior lineup — except Drin “makazze” Shaqiri, who was promoted to the main roster — did not need long to find a new home, signing with FUT Esports on August 1.

Along with announcing the intentions of selling the academy division, Natus Vincere said they would soon kick off the recruitment of the next academy roster.

Now, NAVI have opened academy applications to anyone who meets four basic requirements:

  • 15-17 years of age
  • 3400+ ELO rating
  • Conversational English
  • No contract with another team

Formed in May 2019, NAVI Junior evolved into one of the strongest academy teams on the Counter-Strike esports scene.

They reached new heights in late 2024 and into 2025, accumulating 11 trophies over C- and B-Tier events.

They include YaLLa Compass Qatar, the first EU Thunderpick World Championship series, and two CCT Season 3 European Series gold medals in June 2025.

The application for the new NAVI Junior roster is available on the official Natus Vincere website.
