Natus Vincere add Copy to Dota 2 roster

Natus Vincere

Natus Vincere announced former Nouns Esports player Philipp “Copy” Bühler as the newest member of their Dota 2 division on Thursday.

He will take over for Sukhbat “sanctity-” Otgondavaa, who has been moved to the inactive roster and transfer-listed.

The roster change comes at a confusing time, just three weeks after Natus Vincere won their first trophy of the season at CCT Series 8.

Despite their recent online success, Natus Vincere have not looked great this season, having managed to qualify for only one Tier 1 tournament.

Since the turn of the year, Natus Vincere have attended five big-event qualifiers and made it through just one: the Eastern European PGL Wallachia Season 3 qualifier.

Since leaving Nouns Esports in November 2024, Copy has been competing with Jigglin, Into the Breach, MOUZ, and Capy Baras, struggling to find a permanent home.

His most notable accomplishments this year include two silver medals from European Pro League Season 23 and Season 24, which he won with Into the Breach and MOUZ, respectively.

Copy is the second new player to join Natus Vincere’s Dota 2 lineup this season.

In March, NaVi added Matthew “Ari” Walker to the roster on loan from OG as a replacement for Indji “Shad” Lub.

Natus Vincere are not confirmed to attend any tournaments in the coming weeks, suggesting it will take a while longer before Copy makes his official debut.
