After only one month of play in the Rainbow Six Siege esports scene, Luminosity Gaming have released their entire roster.
Luminosity Gaming released their entire Rainbow Six Siege roster on Wednesday, just a month after re-entering the scene with a new lineup.
The news was announced by Landon “Beeno” Ashbee via an X post.

In the post, Beeno revealed that he and four of his teammates, including Edwardo “Eddy” Diaz, Kees “epic” Hudson, Mason “Fenz” Fender, Julian “Kixhro” Velazquez, and coach Anthony “Froshii” Nassar, are now free agents looking for a new home.
The decision to cut ties with the entire roster came out of nowhere, as it comes just one week before the start of Stage 1 of the North America League 2025.
Moreover, by releasing Beeno and co., Luminosity disbanded the roster they signed just one month ago.
This marks the fourth time Luminosity Gaming decided to exit the Rainbow Six Siege scene since first joining the North American league in 2019.
The departed players and coach intend to keep competing together under the name Students of the Game while looking for an organisation to represent on their quest for the North America League 2025 Stage 1 title.
Luminosity’s departure from the R6S scene comes just two days after the Luminosity R6 Share skins were removed from the in-game shop due to Ubisoft’s decision to include only R6 Share 2025 partnered teams’ skins.
Luminosity Gaming’s previous R6S roster, which featured in-game leader Eddy and Kixhro, did not find much success in the 2024 season, with a fifth-place finish in NA League 2024 Stage 1 and a seventh-place finish in Stage 2.
They reached the Esports World Cup, which was the only significant tournament Luminosity qualified for, but they did not manage to impress, exiting the event in ninth-12th place.
Luminosity have not commented on the abrupt departure of their R6S lineup or intentions to re-enter the scene in the future.
