JD Gaming are -200 favorites to defeat Top Esports in the opening round of LPL 2026 Split 1 Playoffs and get their revenge for the 0-2 loss in the final week of group play.
It was an interesting clash. Top Esports punished JD Gaming’s Sion pick on the first map, and they outmaneuvered JDG in the mid-late game on map two. Despite the dominant showing last time out, Top Esports then struggled a bit too much against Team WE in the Knights Rivals, which explains why the market is so low on them.
It is worth noting that JDG have been overrated this season, despite having middling performance figures. On the other side, TES’ numbers are not that great, even though they appear to be improving.
There is not enough to separate these two teams to justify taking JD Gaming at $1.50. While their performance figures are better, JDG have not shown enough to be priced as such favorites.
Top Esports at outsider odds are worth a stab.

Team WE placed second in Group Perseverance with a 4-2 record and fought their way through Knights Rivals with a 2-3 loss against Top Esports and a 3-1 victory over LNG Esports.
Even though WE reached the playoffs, they’ve been very shaky. Their early game is one of the worst in the league, with a -714 gold difference at 15 minutes during the group stage and -1080 since Knights Rials.
Despite that, Team WE managed to defeat LNG Esports, one of the best early game squads. This, however, was mainly due to the hilarious throws from LNG. Granted, both teams played poorly on the day.
Anyone’s Legend played their last game on February 6, when they defeated Bilibili Gaming 2-1, to secure the No.1 spot in Group Ascend.
Despite not having an outstanding early game (+330 GD@15), Anyone’s Legend have been getting it done, largely due to their excellent macro and decision making. They have also become very good at understanding the meta and are known for gaining draft advantages, allowing them to run over their opponents in the mid-late game.
The top LoL betting sites are giving Team WE mere 14.3% implied probability of winning the series, which sounds fair. They’ve yet to show anything to suggest WE have a clear win condition against Anyone’s Legend.
Barring major throws from Cui “Shanks” Xiaojun and his crew, this series has serious potential to end in a sweep.
