LGD Gaming picked up their third victory of LPL 2025 Split 2 Rumble Stage on Wednesday, when they swept the struggling LNG Esports, adding to their 2-1 victory against Oh My Good a week prior. Those wins do not change the fact that LGD Gaming are not a very good team, but unlike other Group Nirvana squads, they are showing some pulse.
Royal Never Give Up lost their first match of the stage against Ultra Prime last Monday. It was an ugly performance from both sides, confirming that the gap between bottom-half teams is not as significant.
With that logic, taking Royal Never Give Up at plus money would make a lot of sense, but LGD are one of the more consistent Group Nirvana squads who are very good at punishing mistakes. RNG might take one, but this is LGD’s game.

ThunderTalk Gaming have managed just two wins from the seven games played this stage – against FunPlus Phoenix in the opening week and Ninjas in Pyjamas on Friday. Team WE are in an even worse spot, having lost all five LPL 2025 Split 2 Rumble Stage fixtures with a 3-10 map record.
While Team WE have looked like the worst squad in the top conference, they’ve not been getting blown out and even picked up some maps – including one against Anyone’s Legend, Bilibili Gaming, and Top Esports.
ThunderTalk Gaming have shown more and are rightly priced as favourites by the top LoL betting sites, but at -227.27, they’re not an appealing bet. Team WE can be feisty underdogs, and while it will take a big blunder from ThunderTalk for Team WE to win, the outsiders can easily pocket one map.
