Team Secret Whales missed their chance to book a spot in the 2-1 bracket with a painful loss to FlyQuest in Round 3. It was not a particularly close game, but Secret Whales held on well early, which they have been very good at both domestically and internationally.
Movistar KOI enter Round 4 following a 2-1 victory over Fnatic. All three maps were one-sided stomps, with the game ultimately coming down to better drafting from Movistar on the third map.
The main question here is whether Team Secret Whales can have another strong early game and find a way use the early lead to establish a favorable position. They have been very ineffective at doing that this tournament, and while Movistar KOI haven’t had the strongest mid-late game, they too do well early, with a +715 gold difference at 15 minutes.
There is a world where Movistar KOI slip as they are not known to be consistent. But they are the superior team in this affair.
Best Odds: Gen.G -454.55 at BetOnline | TES +300 at SportsBetting

Gen.G Esports enter Round 4 off an impressive victory over their regional rivals, T1. The final scoreline showed 23-3, which would suggest a complete stomp, but it took over 15 minutes for the game to see first blood, so the kill score really only shows how the mid-lane played out.
The Korean champions were the clear better team. They secured a huge team fight before the third dragon, and in their fashion, never let go of the lead.
Top Esports lost to the high-flying KT Rolster, who swept the Chinese representatives 2-0 on Friday. Both maps were relatively close, but KT Rolster team fought better, which allowed them to catch up on the first map and control the second from very early.
This is a match between two elite teams, so it is fair to question why the best LoL betting sites have Top Esports as +300 underdogs. However, TES have not looked very polished, and while they will run over weaker opponents, their teamfighting is lacking and is an area where they will struggle.
A 2-0 sweep for Gen.G is a real possibility.
