LoL Worlds 2025 - Key fixtures set for Saturday

The League of Legends World Championship 2025 Swiss Stage Round 5 draw concluded on Friday, unveiling the final three fixtures which will determine the eight knockout stage participants.

The draw took place after the conclusion of the fourth round, which produced results that aligned with expectations.

Hanwha Life Esports defeated CTBC Flying Oysters, G2 Esports won the NA vs EU derby against FlyQuest, and Movistar KOI bested Team Secret Whales. Meanwhile, T1 and Bilibili Gaming ran over 100 Thieves and Vivo Keyd Stars, respectively.

This leaves only six LoL esports teams in the race for a spot in the playoffs, and three more best-of-three games left to be played.

The Round 5 draw set up three exciting fixtures, but less so for the Chinese fans, as the two remaining LoL Pro League (LPL) representatives, Bilibili Gaming and Top Esports, will have to face each other.

Meanwhile, the defending champions were given a relatively easy task for Saturday, when they take on Europe’s No. 2 seed, Movistar KOI.

FlyQuest and CTBC Flying Oysters were awarded a manageable draw, as they will face each other for a spot in the quarterfinals.

The clash between Top Esports and Bilibili Gaming will be the highlight of Saturday’s games, as the two known rivals face off for the third time since the start of the final split.

As the winner of the two series (Both ending 3-2), BLG enter their next match as favorites on the best LoL betting sites. They are priced at $1.66, giving the Chinese champions a 60.2% chance of progressing to the knockout stage.

The other two fixtures are expected to be more one-sided, with T1 and CTBC Flying Oysters priced as firm betting favorites.

After the conclusion of Round 5 games, LoL Worlds goes on a short break and will resume with quarterfinals on Tuesday, October 28, at Mercedes-Benz Arena.
