Excel Esports and Misfits Gaming will open the day’s fixtures with what promises to be a close affair between two teams that share the same 2-3 record. This is also one of the toughest games to predict, largely because Misfits are very inconsistent and hard to figure out.
Excel are the polar opposite in the sense that they’re consistent, although they’re consistently mediocre. Still, their 40% win rate should be taken with a grain of salt since they’ve had to face G2 and Rogue and were somewhat unlucky to lose their bout with MAD Lions.
If Misfits show up, they will win this match with ease, but they’re far too unreliable for us to trust them with our money. Excel are a much safer bet at a good price.
Excel Esports to win

Even though SK Gaming are 2-3, they are arguably the second-worst team in the league. Their only two wins this season have come against the struggling Astralis and the shaky Misfits, so it’s very difficult to be overly excited about SK.
MAD Lions are rightly priced as favourites on the back of their consistently solid performances throughout the first two weeks of the split, including a win over Fnatic last time out. Even though MAD are not as good as they were last season, they should do more than fine against lower-table teams such as SK.
MAD Lions -5.5 kills

Even though G2 Esports lost to Schalke 04 last week, they’re still the outright favourites to win the LEC Spring 2021 title. That said, their games so far have been far from clean, so it’s not like we can praise G2 all that much.
Team Vitality are 1-4, but we have to consider that – besides their fluke loss against Astralis – they have lost only to Schalke 04, Rogue and Fnatic, who are three of the strongest teams in the league. It might not be obvious, but Vitality are playing much better than their record suggests. Until we start noticing major flaws in their gameplay, we will continue to believe this team can punch up.
The kill line for this match is set at 9.5, which seems a bit too high. Even though G2 are more than capable of winning with double digits, they seem far too shaky for us to trust them at this price. Take the underdogs to keep it relatively close.
Team Vitality +9.5 kills
ROGUE vs SCHALKE 04 LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

LoL Betting Odds: | Rogue -238.1 at BetOnline | S04 +172 at BetOnline |

Schalke 04 made quite a statement last Saturday when they crushed G2 Esports with 13-7 in kills and a 10.6k gold lead. Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik was the driving force behind the upset with a phenomenal game on Aatrox, but the whole team deserves a big thumbs up for that monumental victory.
Rogue enter the third week of the split as the only undefeated team in the league, but that does not necessarily mean they’re invincible. Last week they came extremely close to losing against Misfits Gaming, who should have won with ease but ended up choking in the latter stages of the game.
Rogue are individually stronger than Schalke 04, but the gap is not nearly as big as the latest LoL betting odds suggest. We are not ready to jump on Schalke 04’s hype train just yet, but they’ve shown enough for us to believe they can keep this match within five kills – especially against Rogue, who are not a particularly aggressive team.
