Karmine Corp kept their winning streak alive last Sunday, when they defeated the defending LEC champions, Movistar KOI, in a competitive three-map series. KC dominated the first map, KOI picked up the second with a decisive teamfight win, while the third map was a 44-minute back-and-forth battle.
Movistar KOI arguably would’ve won that series had they not thrown away a sizeable lead by being greedy. It was still an excellent showing from Karmine Corp, who continue to make a case for themselves as Europe’s top dogs.
Team Vitality have played just one game this split – a 0-2 loss to GIANTX in the first week of play. It is hard to make any conclusions based on a single game. They also have made one roster change in the support position before the summer split, but that should not change their identity too much.
Team Vitality were a gatekeeper team last split, with a few great games, but they’ve been mostly mediocre, so it is hard to be overly optimistic about the Bees and their chances to succeed in summer.
Karmine Corp are priced as firm favorites on the best LoL betting sites, and considering their recent games, that makes sense.

G2 Esports defeated Team Heretics in their opening match of LEC 2025 Summer with a sharp showing on the first map and a dominant victory on the second. Team BDS, on the other hand, defeated SK Gaming in the opening week but had to admit defeat to Fnatic in the previous round.
Fnatic dominated the first map, while Team BDS showed some fight early into the second map before Fnatic took over in the mid-late game. It was a promising display from Team BDS, but they remain a big enigma with a new jungler and top laner.
While we have seen G2 Esports play just one game, it is fair to give a healthy degree of benefit that they will emerge as one of the main title contenders for the summer title. However, -1250 is a bit too low a number.
Team BDS did not perform too poorly against Fnatic, and if they can produce a similar performance on Monday, there is a good chance they walk away with one map.
