League newcomers, Natus Vincere, have made some changes from the previous Rogue roster, adding Lee “Hans SamD” Jae-hoon as a new ADC, jungler Francisco “Thayger” Mazo, and former jungler Kim “Malrang” Geun-seong as the team’s starting support.

With this roster, NaVi are a huge enigma, and as it appears, they are aiming to spend this split building a foundation rather than competing for a strong placement.

The LEC Winter champions, Karmine Corp, were arguably the best team of the last split and are viewed as the leading favorites to win LEC Summer. While they might need time to adjust to the new meta, KC have individual players and coaching staff to compete for a LoL Worlds spot at a minimum.

Karmine Corp should win with ease; however, the kill handicap is set way too high for an early-split game. All teams are rusty, and with a new meta forming, some volatility is to be expected.

Fnatic enter LEC 2025 Summer with a new mid laner, Yun “Poby” Sung-won, who is relatively unproven at the highest level of play. While the 19-year-old is surrounded by veteran players, there is no telling how this new-look Fnatic roster will work.

Team Heretics have decided to run it back with the same five players after a fifth-sixth place finish in LEC 2025 Spring. Much of the same is to be expected in LEC Summer – Heretics will be a competitive mid-table team.
