It’s way too early to say which team will win the 2022 LoL World Championship, but based on what we have seen across all major regions so far, T1 are currently the best team in the world by a large margin. Not only are Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and his crew undefeated (14-0) seven weeks into LCK 2022 Spring, but T1 have also dropped only five maps of 32 played.

Kwagndong Freecs have achieved a lot this season relative to expectations and are just a couple of wins away from securing a spot in the playoffs. They have won six of 14 series (6-8) and even took a map away from Gen.G (1-2) on Saturday. But even though KDF have had their moments, they’ve yet to defeat any of the top teams.

Kwangdong Freecs are a solid mid-table team, but they don’t come off as a squad capable of causing upsets. T1 already won this match (2-0) at the start of the year, and there is no reason to believe they can’t recreate that result on Friday.

DWG KIA vs NONGSHIM REDFORCE LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Odds: DWG -357.14 at BetOnline | NSRF +250 at BetOnline

DWG KIA lost against Gen.G (1-2) on Wednesday, which isn’t the result the former world champions hoped for, but it’s hardly a reason for concern. DWG KIA showed a lot of good qualities in that match, and even though Heo “ShowMaker” Su and his crew came out short, they proved that they could compete with the best Korea has to offer.

With a 9-6 record, DWG KIA are through to the LCK 2022 Spring playoffs, and even though we wouldn’t count on them winning the split, they are a team we should keep an eye on. Early into the season, DWG KIA struggled with consistency but improved in that department over the last couple of weeks, as seen in their commanding victories against Kwangdong Freecs (0-2), Liiv SANDBOX (0-2), and Hanwha Life Esports (0-2).

You could argue that Nongshim RedForce field better players than those three teams, which they do, but this is still a team that has won only one of their last ten outings. There is nothing about RedForce that would suggest they can win here. Anything less than a 2-0 sweep for DWG KIA will be a disappointment.
