On Friday, March 20, Fnatic announced a contract extension with Kajetan “kaajak” Haremski, who will stay with the European VALORANT team for at least one more year.

The Polish player joined Fnatic in October 2024 and has since remained on the active roster, helping the Black & Orange establish themselves as one of the most successful teams in the scene.

His stint with Fnatic started ahead of the 2025 season, with a title run at Riot Games ONE PRO INVITATIONAL. However, his debut in the VCT EMEA did not go as planned, with Fnatic exiting VCT EMEA Kickoff in fifth-sixth place, thus missing out on Masters Bangkok.

The team regrouped, won Stage 1, and made the finals of VCT Toronto, where kaajak posted a 1.06 performance rating. He had, however, improved for the Esports World Cup, where the Pole posted a 1.19 rating, helping Fnatic to another silver medal.

The up-and-down season continued, with Fnatic exiting Stage 2 in fifth-sixth, only to reach another grand final at VALORANT Champions, where kaajak emerged as Fnatic’s most valuable player.

He posted a 1.15 average rating and was the top performer in the grand final (1.16), but it was not enough for Fnatic to claim the elusive world championship title.

While kaajak hasn’t had the best individual showing in this year’s VCT EMEA Kickoff, posting a 0.95 rating, he will remain one of the key components of Fnatic’s roster throughout 2026 and into the next season.

By signing a contract extension, the 21-year-old is the first player to confirm his stay with Fnatic in 2027. Meanwhile, the rest of the roster’s contracts will all expire at the end of 2026.
