KT Rolster enter their first game of the 2023 season as +400 underdogs with esports betting sites, which is hardly surprising. Many people have KT Rolster rated very high, mainly due to the name recognition of Kim “Kiin” Gi-in and Kim “Aiming” Ha-ram, but overall this team lacks top-tier talent.
T1 didn’t make any roster changes for the LCK 2023 season, keeping the same five-man lineup the team put together in December 2020. That’s a good move, considering T1 haven’t placed worse than third in every event they’ve attended since the LCK 2021 Summer Playoffs, including silver medals from Mid-Season Invitational and LoL Worlds 2022.
At the offered LoL betting odds, putting money on T1 at -714.29 doesn’t make much sense, but we like Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and co. at -151.52 to cover the map handicap.
T1 -1.5 maps
LIIV SANDBOX vs DPLUS KIA LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

Dplus KIA took care of business in the LCK 2023 Spring opener on Wednesday, when they stomped the reigning LoL world champions DRX. The game’s result is hardly surprising, mainly because Dplus KIA improved its LoL roster, whereas DRX lost most of the lineup, which led the Korean team to its first Summoner’s Cup.
But even though we can acknowledge how good Heo “ShowMaker” Su and his crew played on Wednesday, it’s hard to use that showing to predict how this affair will go. Liiv SANDBOX have yet to play this season, and with three new faces joining the team, it’s tough to say how they’ll do.
Esports betting sites have Liiv SANDBOX priced as one of the outsiders to win the LCK crown, which might make sense, but we feel like LSB are underrated. Noh “Burdol” Tae-yoon, Kim “Willer” Jeong-hyeon, and Lee “Clozer” Ju-hyeon is a very solid trio with a strong upside, so we would be careful about fading Liiv SANDBOX, especially so early into the season.
At +225, Liiv SANDBOX to win one map is a no-brainer pick in our book, even though this is still Dplus KIA’s game to lose.
