Fnatic have released their entire Rainbow Six Siege roster after a disappointing 2025, sending five players to free agency while the org plans a reset.

On Monday, December 29, Fnatic announced the end of their Rainbow Six Siege roster, revealing the departure of all five players as a part of a major overhaul.

In the announcement, posted on X, Fnatic stated that due to the results in Rainbow Six Siege, they’ve decided to pull the plug on their current lineup and take some time to reset.

The news comes after a disappointing 2025 season for Fnatic, who have failed to win a single R6S tournament, nor have they come close to accomplishing much on bigger stages.

Besides placing second at Malta Cyber Series: VIII, Fnatic have not made much noise in their competitive endeavours. They finished the Europe MENA League in ninth place, and their sole international appearance, at RE:L0:AD, ended in 17th-20th place.

The final straw was two failed attempts to fight through the Six Invitational 2026 Europe and MENA qualifiers, with the Black & Orange finishing fifth-eighth in both attempts, thus missing their chance to reach the Last Chance Qualifier.

Instead of deciding to rebuild, Fnatic opted to pull the plug on the current roster iteration and look for a fresh start.

This sees Tom “Deapek” Pieksma, Jesse “Jeggz” Ojanen, Leonardo “Sarks” Sarchi, Samuel “Wizard” Morgan, and Antonio “CroqSon” Vázquez enter free agency market, where they’ll look for a new home.

The abrupt decision to restart their R6S division comes after a second disappointing season for Fnatic, whose decision to move to the European region in 2024 has not netted any positive results.

Fnatic previously competed in the Asia-Pacific region from 2021 to 2023; however, their accomplishments in Asia were equally as disappointing, as Fnatic failed to win a single big event.

The disbandment of the roster does not mean the end of Fnatic’s involvement in Rainbow Six Siege. However, the European team have yet to share their plans for the future, which could see Fnatic move to another region for the 2026 season.
