Wednesday, August 13, was the third day of Week Six at the Esports World Cup, and with plenty of action on the day, Tekken 8 joined PUBG and Teamfight Tactics in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Rocket League will be the fourth title to kick off during Week Six, with the opening day scheduled for Thursday.

The final day of the group stage at the Teamfight Tactics Esports World Cup determined the last four playoff teams, as eight squads faced off in each group’s decider match.
Team Vitality, Virtus.pro, Flash Wolves, and EVOS Esports joined Weibo Gaming, AEGIS, Citadel Gaming, and Wolves Esports in securing spots in the quarterfinals.

The final day of the group stage will feature Groups B and C in the last six matches, with the top 16 teams in the overall standings advancing to the grand finals.
A massive day of play at the Tekken 8 Esports World Cup unfolded on Wednesday, with five best-of-three series contested in each of Groups A, B, C, and D.
Atif “Atif Butt” Ijaz, Lee “EDGE” Ju-hyung, Park “eyemusician” Min-hyung, Park “Mangja” Geon-ho, Jeon “JeonDDing” Sang-hyun, Arslan “Arslan Ash” Siddique, Bae “Knee” Jae-min, and Kim “kkokkoma” Mu-jong all secured their places in the playoffs.
