The third day of the fifth week at the 2025 Esports World Cup featured the Rainbow Six Siege playoffs and group stage action from Call of Duty Warzone and EA Sports FC.

Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup

The Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup playoffs kicked off on Thursday, as the last eight teams clashed in four best-of-three quarterfinal series.

After claiming victories in the quarters, FURIA Esports, G2 Esports, Spacestation Gaming and Team Secret advanced to the semifinals.

Call of Duty Warzone Esports World Cup

The Call of Duty Warzone Esports World Cup will move into the last chance stage after two days of group stage action. With Groups A, B and C playing each other twice, Team Falcons finished on top of the overall standings.

The top seven squads advanced to the finals, so Virtus.pro, Twisted Minds, NOVO Esports, Team Vision, FaZe Clan and CT Gaming will join Falcons in the last stage of the tournament. Meanwhile, the other 14 teams will have to battle it out in the last-chance stage for the remaining seven spots in the finals.

EA Sports FC Esports World Cup

A massive day of EA Sports FC Esports World Cup action took place on Thursday, August 7, with each of the eight groups featuring four matches on the first day of competition. Following the upper bracket semifinals, the winner of the upper bracket final advanced to the playoffs, while the loser of the lower bracket semifinal was eliminated from the tournament.
