OG finished the regular season in fourth place with a 4-3 record and two tiebreaker wins against Nigma Galaxy and Team Secret. While OG have looked good against weaker European Dota 2 teams, they were not nearly as efficient against the likes of Tundra Esports, Team Tickles, and also Team Liquid, who beat them 2-1 at the start of December.
Team Liquid enter the regional finals as the DPC WEU Tour 1 Division I regular-season champions and the outright favourites (+200) to claim the trophy. However, while Liquid went 6-1 to top the group stage, they dropped maps on a regular basis, namely against Team Secret (2-1), Nigma Galaxy (1-2), and even Alliance (2-1).
We would still rank Liquid as one of the top 10 Dota 2 esports teams globally, but they’re not efficient enough for us to believe they can sweep OG. Instead, we expect a close match that should go the distance.

Team Tickles finished the first DPC tour in second place with a 5-2 record, one spot above Tundra Esports, who placed third with a 4-3 record and 9-6 map difference. But even though Tundra did not win the title, they were phenomenal in the latter stages of the regular season and the tiebreakers.
Adrian “Fata” Trinks crushed OG (twice), Team Secret, and Nigma Galaxy in some of the biggest stomps we have seen this season. Although we shouldn’t overreact to a few solid performances, Tundra seem like they’re coming into their own and will be a tough opponent to beat in this tournament.
Consistency is still an issue for Tundra Esports, and it is hard to overlook the fact that Team Tickles beat them 2-0 just two weeks back. Regardless, Tundra have been playing much better since then and should be ready to take revenge on Tickles on Tuesday.
