Team Empire will clash with Team Unique in their fourth match of Dota 2 Champions League 2021 Season 3. The Russian squad have yet to drop a game this tournament, and it’s fair to say that won’t change on Tuesday.
Empire are fresh off a bitter-sweet seventh-eighth place finish at ESL One Fall 2021, where they have done well enough to make it out of Group B with a 0-4-1 record, but they fell flat at the first hurdle in the playoffs. Regardless, Empire have proven that they can be competitive against Europe’s best teams.
Team Unique have done well in the second season of the Champions League, but they came up short against Hellbear Smashers in the lower bracket finals and walked away with a bronze medal.
