DN Freecs announced the arrival of Lee “Clozer” Ju-hyun, who joins the Korean League of Legends team as their new mid laner.

After their worst season yet, DN Freecs have taken this offseason as an opportunity to rebuild and come back stronger in 2026.

The LoL Champions Korea (LCK) 2025 wooden spoon winners have recently acquired KT Rolster’s bottom lane duo, Seo
“deokdam” Dae-gil and Jeong “Peter” Yoon-su
, and on Friday, November 21, filled the void in the mid lane with Clozer.

Clozer’s arrival is another high-profile move for DN Freecs, who are set to make changes to their coaching staff, with the
intention of starting fresh next season.

The 22-year-old mid laner started his career in 2019 with T1 Rookies and got a chance to play for T1’s main lineup in 2020 as a replacement for the legendary Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok.

However, since Faker had no intention of retiring yet, Clozer left T1 in 2021 to explore his options elsewhere. Over the next years, Clozer played for SANDBOX Gaming, BNK FEARX, and OKSavingsBank BRION, slowly making a name for himself as one of the most mechanically gifted mid laners in the league.

Even though Clozer hasn’t won a single LCK trophy in his career, he secured a bronze medal from LCK 2022 Summer and
Regional Finals with SANBDOX, and placed fourth in 2024 Regional Finals with FEARX.

Last season with BRION was Clozer’s least successful yet. The team started the year with an eighth-ninth place finish in the LCK Cup and ended the season in eighth place with a 11-19 record.

Now, Clozer will open a new chapter of his career with DN Freecs, after reportedly grabbing attention from a range of domestic and international teams this offseason.

However, despite having many offers on the table, the talented mid laner opted to join the LoL Worlds finalist bottom lane duo and become a face of Freecs’ overhauled roster.

With the arrival of Clozer, DN Freecs need just a jungler to complete their roster, which will debut in the 2025 KeSPA Cup, set to kick off on December 6, 2025.
