Aleksander “hades” Miśkiewicz has been shown the door after failing to impress during his time away from Monte.
Monte have announced the departure of Aleksander “hades” Miśkiewicz from their Counter-Strike 2 lineup, shortly after his return from a two-month loan spell at G2 Esports.
Hades joined Monte in July 2024 alongside his former teammate at ENCE, Paweł “dycha” Dycha.
The 25-year-old spent the next 10 months on Monte’s active CS2 roster but failed to find any success as the team ended the year without a trophy.
Monte’s woes continued early into 2025, with their only notable placement being a runner-up finish at CCT Season 2 European Series #16, leading to roster changes and the removal of hades from the active lineup.
Following his benching, the Polish AWPer was allowed to join G2 Esports as a replacement for Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, who left for Team Falcons.
His loan spell, however, was rather underwhelming.
With G2 Esports, hades attended PGL Astana, Intel Extreme Masters Dallas, and the BLAST.tv Austin Major, failing to reach the knockout stage while averaging a 1.02 performance rating across those three events.
Upon the expiration of his loan deal, G2 opted to replace hades with Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia from HEROIC and sent the Pole back to his parent team, where he was shown the door.
Hades is the third player to leave Monte in the last month, following the departure of Vladyslav “leen” Stepanov and Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss at the start of June.
This leaves Monte with just three active players — Gytis “ryu” Glušauskas, Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen, and Aurélien “afro” Drapier — and two gaps to fill during the summer break.
The Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 scene resumes on July 15 with FISSURE Playground 1, for which Monte — sitting 72nd in the Valve Regional Standings — have not yet secured an invite.
