BIG released their entire League of Legends roster on Monday, allowing all players and coaches to explore their options ahead of the 2025 esports season.
In an announcement posted on X, the organisation expressed special thanks to veteran top laner Tamás “Vizicsacsi” Kiss, who stuck with the team for two years.
During this time, he served a short stint with LoL EMEA Championship (LEC) side Team Vitality as an assistant coach between March and April 2024.
With competitive League of Legends coming to a pause until 2025, we say goodbye to the staff and players of 2024!

Joining the 31-year-old on his way out of BIG are jungler Denis “Densi” Aljic, ADC Jesper “Jeskla” Strömberg, support Alexander “Lekcyc” Lexikov, mid laner Chres “Sencux” Laursen and both coaches, Fayan “Gevous” Pertijs and Davide “Sotze” Di Guida.
The departure of BIG’s LoL lineup follows a disappointing season, during which the team failed to reach the same heights as in 2023.
BIG kicked off the year with a ninth-place finish in Prime League Spring 2024, which led to some roster changes and the arrival of a new bottom-lane duo and coaching staff.
Even with a new-look lineup BIG failed to improve much and ended Prime League Summer 2024 in seventh place, narrowly missing EMEA Masters Summer 2024.
BIG then placed second at European Pro League Season 3 but were not as successful in October, finishing fifth-eighth at Prime League Pokal 2024.
The 2024 LoL esports season was BIG’s least successful since 2020, when they missed both European Masters events and finished the year with a seventh-place finish at the Prime League Season Finals.
Over the next three years BIG would find more success, as they were back-to-back Prime League champions in 2021 and made the quarterfinals at EU Masters Spring 2021.
With the Prime League 2025 season to begin in January, the German team’s plans for the upcoming campaign remain unclear.
