The slow start was partially due to a lacklustre performance from Ilya ‘m0NESY’ Osipov and Nemanja ‘huNter-‘ Kovač, but Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovač’s stellar play helped G2 turn the tide.
BIG missed key opportunities, and G2’s individuals came alive, particularly Nemanja ‘nexa’ Isaković with crucial multi-kills.
The following map, Ancient, saw NiKo back to his best with impressive plays, including a memorable Deagle quad-kill and ace.
G2 dominated, closing out the series 13-4.

FaZe Clan faced a tough challenge from Monte but secured their spot in the next round with wins on Vertigo and Mirage.
