Riyadh Masters Format
There are three distinct stages of the Riyadh Masters, with these being the Play-in Stage, the Group Stage and the Playoffs. The Playoff stage of the Riyadh Masters is due to start on July 16, while we will have a winner crowned by July 21.
Play-In Stage
- Two groups of six teams each
- Single round robin and all matches are best-of-two
- Top three teams from each group advance to the group stage
- Fourth and fifth place teams from each group will be matched against each other
- Matches are played from opposite groups, where the winners will advance to the group stage and losers will be eliminated
Group Stage July
- Two groups of eight teams each
- Single round robin and all matches are best-of-two
- Top four teams from each group advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs
- 5th and 6th place teams from each group advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs
- Remaining teams are eliminated
