BMW M Team Redline have cemented their place at the top of virtual motorsport, storming to back-to-back titles in the Rennsport Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh.
Although Redline entered the Esports World Cup as the second favourite with top online betting sites at +150 behind Porsche Coanda Esports Racing (+100), the squad of Luke Bennett, Sebastian Job, Jeffrey Rietveld, and Kevin Siggy left no doubt about who rules the sim racing scene.
From the group stage onward, Redline was relentless, piling up points and reaching “Finalist Mode” ahead of schedule. They ultimately sealed the title with 374 points, leaving Virtus.pro a distant second on 256, and Team Vitality third with 168.
Kevin Siggy shone brightest, securing not only the team victory but also the individual championship title—and an extra $100,000.
“It’s all about teamwork, and we had it all the time, every single race we did the best that we could, especially in the races we came back from poor qualifying. I’m very happy we achieved it, it’s a back to back. I said two days ago that we are going to do it, and we did. We are simply the best,” said Siggy.
Meanwhile, Luke Bennett claimed MVP honours and $10,000, declaring, “It’s incredible, I’ve never won any kind of driver’s or solo championship, so to win the MVP award is almost a different way of winning that kind of thing. I’m super happy to win the MVP award, but also, it would be rude to say that all my teammates don’t deserve it, too. They’ve all been incredible, it’s not a one-man team, there’s four of us.”
BMW’s other squads, MOUZ and BS+COMPETITION, fought hard to finish sixth and eighth respectively.
